    • I suggest you to continue your postgraduate studies in Islamic Finance, as they will be a huge demand for Islamic finance professionals in Jordan. Jordan is still at initial stage in Islamic finance industry and will boost by the current developments in Islamic finance industry.

I have don’t have much information available about the Islamic finance post degree programs in Jordan or Syria. But there many institutions conducting courses in Islamic finance in Middle east regions such as Bahrain, UAE and Kuwait. I would suggest you to take up the courses in these countries or follow in Malaysia or UK.

    • Brother, before commencing the MBA Finance in Islamic finance I would recommend you to do some basics courses on Islamic finance such as certification or diploma. This will give you good beginning. Since your field is IT I would suggest you to develop you skills in Software development in MIS for Islamic Finance industry. There are number of software firms are engaged in developing software for Islamic banks and financial institutions. I cannot recommend institutions specifically for best in MBA in Islamic finance, as there is not standard accrediting body for ISLAMIC FINANCE MBA. Please read my MBA pages for further information.

Before commencing post graduation studies Islamic Finance, I would recommend you to do a diploma in Islamic finance or banking course. Since you are doing CMA, diploma in Islamic finance will give idea of Islamic banking and you can continuo your masters in Islamic finance. I do not see any difference between MA and MSc and these designations are depending on the university traditions. The best and most recognized qualification for diploma is Institute of Islamic banking and insurance UK. I do not think there are any on campus programs in US for Islamic finance but you can find many online degrees. However, do not be cheated by diploma mills.

  36. Assalamu’alaikum wr wb. I am Mita from Indonesia. If you don’t mind, I would like to add more information about master in Islamic Economic/Finance/Banking in my country. Actually there are a lot of universities in Indonesia which offering this major not only Masters program in Islamic Finance, economics and Banking – Institute of Economics and Finance – Universitas Trisakti Jakarta, Indonesia as you informed above. This one is not the best one university in my country, sorry to say this.

There are two types schools in Indonesia : own by Indonesia government or by non-government. School by the goverment is more presticious and qualified.
    1. University of Indonesia
This is one of the best university in Indonesia. Own by government. Also I was studying there. Almost ministers in Indonesia are graduated from this university. Offering 2 types Master of Islamic Economic : from Magister Management Faculty ( please look at this : http://mm.fe.ui.ac.id/index.php/admisi/program-studi/mm-kekhususan) and from PSKTTI (please look at this one : http://www.psktti-ui.com/eks.php?bhs=EN&id=).

    2. UIN Jakarta
    http://fsh-uinjkt.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=253&Itemid=117

Those are two government universities in Jakarta, but there are still a lot of others. Trisakti University is not own by Indonesia Government. Maybe next time i will write about this information in my wordpres (diahmitasari.wordpress.com). I hope this short information can help.
