    I am a banker working for the largest private and Islamic bank in Bangladesh want to contribute something for further research in flourishing Islamic banking throughout the world. I have special concern in searching a comparative study between Islamic Finance and Japanese main banking system , their joint venture and management participating culture that takes a similarity of musharakah and mudarabah finance. Please do advise me for me to go ahead and note that I am completing a post graduate degree in Japanese Studies where Japanese economy and business is my main concern.

    I am a student currently undertaking a MSc. in Finance. I have a Research paper/ dissertation to write that is due on the 3rd of August. The topic I have picked is Islamic Fiance. I am mainly interested in the structure of Islamic finace and the comparison between Islamic banks and conventional banks.

    Could you please advise me on the best topic title to choose in your opinion? I am looking to make a comparison across countries based on profitability and risk. I am uncertain whether a cross country comparison is appropriate or I should be focusing on particular area?

    • Cross country analysis very difficult task. Because you can not compare UK and Malaysia, but make comparison between GCC.

        I have decided on my title: A comparative performance analysis of Islamic and conventional banks in MENAP( Middle East and North America, Afghanistan and Pakistan) from (Sample dates)

        My sample date will stretch over a 7-10year period after 2002.

I searched the web frequently about this, but I could only find very few listings… Since it was reported many times, that Islamic Banking is lacking Manpower, I wonder where we could find the positions.
